ABOUT
us
• The Santa Cruz Aquaculture Fisheries Center was founded in 1991 as an initiative to recover land degraded by mining in its origins, as Hacienda Santa Cruz, was dedicated exclusively to the production of Cachama and Tilapia fingerlings. Later on, seeking to diversify the business and to overcome other difficulties associated with the public order situation of the country it began to produce ornamental fish.

We are an engine of the development
of the fishing chain of Bajo Cauca
• The vision of the Santa Cruz Fishery was evolving and in 2012 the Aquaculture Fisheries Center Santa Cruz is formed with a more integral approach in the social, environmental and economic.
We have a model of recovery of soils degraded by mining that can be replicated in other areas that have suffered the consequences of irrational mining. We work hand in hand with the families of the region by offering them different work alternatives and promoting fish farming as a means of livelihood.
We are a family business with more
than 30 years of experience in the region
