• The Aquaculture Regional Center Santa Cruz has an approximate area of 60 hectares, a mirror of water of 10 hectares, a battery of 200 ponds in cement and 80 earthen ponds used in fishing and ornamental fishery activities and a laboratory with production capacity of one million (1 million) fingerlings per month. It is at an altitude of 80 masl, with an average temperature of 28 ° C, a relative humidity of 90% and an average annual precipitation of 3000-3500 mm.
ORNAMENTAL
fish
We produce and commercialize ornamental fish. All of our fish are reproduced in captivity and not caught in their environment:

• Colisa Lalia, Red, Blue (Trichogaster lalius)

• Ramirezi albino, albino veil, common, common veil (Mikrogeophagus ramirezi)
FISH
fingerlings
We produce and commercialize larvae and fingerlings of the following species:
• White, black and hybrid Cachama (Colossoma macropomum)
• Bocachico (Prochilodus magdalenae)
• Red and nilotic tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)
• Dorada (Brycon Moorei Moorei)
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
and training
• We provide specialized technical assistance for existing fishery projects or in the planning of new projects in the areas of production, planning and assembly.
We train personnel in the management, maintenance and sanitation of fish, water quality, reception and packing.
RESEARCH
• We carry out research projects aimed at improving the conditions of fish farming in the region. We work in the hands of universities to generate knowledge.
